This morning i was informed that the Google Māori translation project is beginning to be rolled out and available at http://www.google.com/intl/mi/ . This site is still in English at the time of writing. So i imagine there is a roll out plan as with any newly developed system.
There is also a small (up to 250 people) symbolic launch next week with one of the community of translators.
Initial thoughts thus far, Māori requires a macron and hopefully Google will acquire the domain name google.maori.nz which appears to be cyber squatted at present.
Other than that it searches as normal.
Konrad Dear has some more details on his site.
